Indiana Parenting Time Hotline now open for questions
A HelpLine for parenting time questions has been established by the Indiana Child Support Bureau and is now open to the public.
This is a free hotline created through the Access & Visitation Program staffed by licensed attorneys trained in the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines. Those guidelines govern visitation rules in child custody cases, including divorce and paternity cases.
Previously, there was no such service for parents who may be calling to their local child support office for questions regarding parenting time issues.
It is important to remember that you should get specific advice from a local attorney about your local judge and situation, as the hotline attorneys cannot give legal advice about your unique case, but can only answer general questions. An attorney-client relationship is not created when someone calls for help, but referrals can be made to parents for additional assistance. .
The toll-free number is (844) 836-0003. Hours are Monday thru Friday, noon to 5pm Eastern time.
